About the Ascari A10
The Ascari A10 was designed by Paul Brown, former designer for the Zakspeed F1 team, as a road-going version of the KZ1-R GT3 race car. It features a carbon-fibre monocoque and a heavily reworked BMW S62 V8 engine, producing significantly more power than the standard M5 unit. The interior was stripped of the KZ1's luxuries, replaced by a FIA-spec roll cage and racing seats to achieve a kerb weight of just 1,280kg. Despite its track-focused nature, it remained road-legal, offering a raw and uncompromising driving experience similar to a contemporary GT3 racer.
