Alpine A526
The first Enstone-built car with Mercedes power since the Lotus E23 of 2015, following Renault's exit as an engine maker.
About the Alpine A526
The A526 is Alpine's sixth car since the rebrand from Renault and its first with Mercedes power, after Renault stopped building Formula One engines at the end of 2025. It was shaken down at Silverstone on 21 January 2026, and its livery was unveiled two days later on an MSC Cruises ship off Barcelona. Pierre Gasly and Franco Colapinto proved more competitive than in 2025, with Colapinto setting career-best finishes of seventh in Miami and then sixth at the next race in Canada. After the Mexico City Grand Prix, Alpine was sixth in the Constructors' Championship with 69 points, having finished last the year before.
