Alpine A523
Alpine's 2023 car, which put Esteban Ocon and Pierre Gasly on the podium once each in an up-and-down season.
About the Alpine A523
The A523 was revealed in February 2023 with a pink livery for the first three races, and it borrowed design cues from the AlphaTauri AT03, including push-rod rear suspension in place of the A522's pull-rod layout. It used the Mecachrome-assembled Renault E-Tech RE23 power unit and was driven by Esteban Ocon and new signing Pierre Gasly. Ocon took third at Monaco, his first podium since his 2021 Hungarian victory, and Gasly finished third at a chaotic Dutch Grand Prix. The season also had low points, including a collision between the two drivers at the Australian Grand Prix and a Monza weekend on which both cars went out in Q1.
