About the Alfa Romeo 159
The Alfa Romeo 159 was designed by Giorgetto Giugiaro at Italdesign, replacing the 156 with a significantly stiffer chassis and a more aggressive aesthetic defined by its triple-lens headlights. The 1.9 JTDm Lusso was a popular choice in the UK, balancing the brand's signature style with the efficiency and torque of a common-rail diesel engine. While heavier than its predecessor, the 159 offered much-improved build quality and a sophisticated multi-link rear suspension setup. The Lusso trim provided a premium interior featuring Frau leather upholstery and dual-zone climate control, positioning it as a stylish alternative to the BMW 3 Series.
