About the Volvo V60 Polestar Mk1
The Mk1 V60 Polestar was Volvo's first true production performance flagship, developed in collaboration with their long-time racing partner. Distinguished by its signature Rebel Blue paint and 20-inch wheels, it features a heavily revised chassis with manually adjustable Öhlins dampers and 80% stiffer springs than the R-Design. The 3.0-litre straight-six provides a characterful, linear power delivery, while the Haldex AWD system was recalibrated for a more rear-biased torque distribution. It remains a cult favourite for its blend of understated looks, genuine touring car-inspired hardware, and everyday Swedish practicality.
