About the Lotus Evora
Introduced for the 2011 model year, the Evora S addressed the original car's lack of straight-line punch by adding a Harrop HTV 1320 supercharger to the Toyota-sourced 3.5-litre V6. While the power increase was modest, the addition of a standard Sport Pack and revised suspension geometry sharpened the handling without sacrificing the model's acclaimed ride quality. It remains a standout for its hydraulic steering feel and its ability to bridge the gap between a pure sports car and a usable grand tourer. Collectors value the S for being the most balanced iteration of the original Evora shape before the more aggressive 400-series facelift.
