About the Volvo C40
Launched as the more stylish, coupe-like sibling to the XC40 Recharge, the C40 was the first Volvo model in history to be designed exclusively as a pure electric vehicle. It features a distinctively sloped roofline and a leather-free interior, signaling the brand's shift towards sustainable luxury. The 'Twin' powertrain utilizes two electric motors to provide potent all-wheel-drive performance, delivering a sub-5-second sprint to 62 mph. While it shares the CMA platform with the Polestar 2, the C40 offers a higher seating position and the practical benefits of a crossover, albeit with slightly reduced rear headroom due to its fastback profile.
