About the BYD Han
Launched in 2020, the BYD Han EV represents a significant leap for Chinese electric vehicles, targeting the executive segment with premium materials and high-performance specifications. It was the first production model to feature BYD's 'Blade Battery' technology, a lithium iron phosphate (LFP) design engineered for superior safety and space efficiency. The flagship all-wheel-drive variant delivers rapid acceleration, reaching 100 km/h in just 3.9 seconds, while maintaining a competitive range. Its design, termed 'EV Dragon Face', was led by former Audi designer Wolfgang Egger to blend traditional Chinese aesthetics with modern European proportions.
