About the Vauxhall Combo Life E
The fifth-generation Vauxhall Combo, known as the Combo Life in passenger form, was developed as part of the PSA Group's K9 project alongside the Citroën Berlingo and Peugeot Rifter. Transitioning from a Fiat-based platform to the EMP2 architecture, it offered significantly improved refinement and car-like safety technology while retaining its utilitarian roots. The 1.5-litre Turbo D in 100 PS guise serves as the entry-level diesel, focused on fuel efficiency and low-end torque rather than outright performance. In 2022, Vauxhall ceased production of internal combustion versions of the Combo Life in the UK, moving exclusively to the electric Combo-e variant.
