About the Santana PS-10

The Santana PS-10, also known as the Aníbal, is a rugged off-roader developed from the Land Rover Series III platform that Santana had built under licence for decades. Unlike the contemporary Defender which moved to coil springs, the PS-10 retained a heavy-duty leaf-sprung suspension setup, making it a favourite for utility and military use. It is powered by a reliable 2.8-litre Iveco 8140 turbodiesel engine, offering significant torque for towing and technical terrain. While less refined than its British cousin, it is celebrated by collectors for its mechanical simplicity and distinct four-headlamp styling. Production eventually transitioned into the Iveco Massif before Santana ceased operations in 2011.
