About the Saleen S7
The Saleen S7 Twin Turbo arrived in 2005 as a significant evolution of Steve Saleen's clean-sheet supercar, adding two Garrett turbochargers to the 7.0-litre Ford-derived V8. Built on a steel space-frame with carbon-fibre bodywork, it was designed to compete with the world's fastest exotics, offering a raw, analogue driving experience via a six-speed manual transaxle. Its racing pedigree is extensive, with the S7R variant achieving class wins at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Today, it is a highly coveted collector piece, representing a peak of American performance engineering from the mid-2000s.
