About the Rolls-Royce Corniche
The Rolls-Royce Corniche was the coachbuilt evolution of the Silver Shadow, hand-assembled by Mulliner Park Ward in London. Taking over 20 weeks to complete, each car featured the finest Connolly leather, Wilton carpets, and burr walnut veneers. The 1975 model represents the classic chrome-bumper era, powered by the venerable L410 V8 engine which Rolls-Royce famously described as having 'adequate' power. It offers a peerless 'waftability' thanks to its sophisticated hydraulic self-levelling suspension, making it a definitive grand tourer of the 1970s.
