About the Red Bull Racing RB4
The RB4 was the team's second Adrian Newey design, with help from Geoff Willis, and was launched at Jerez in January 2008 with Renault RS27 power. It tried a fin-shaped engine cover in testing, both drivers topped the timesheets, and Mark Webber called it 'a big step forward' after his first run. The season brought a single podium and a run of lacklustre results through the summer, even after Webber qualified second at Silverstone. In Singapore David Coulthard finished seventh to score the last points of his career, while Webber retired with a gearbox fault that the team blamed on an electrical surge from a passing underground tram, a claim the railway operator denied.
