About the Red Bull Racing RB19
Developed under Adrian Newey and Pierre Waché from the title-winning RB18, the RB19 used the Honda RBPTH001 power unit, marking Honda's return as a named engine supplier. In pre-season testing pundits noted that it looked stable, reliable and easy to drive, and Max Verstappen said it had improved 'everywhere'. Verstappen and Sergio Pérez won 21 of the 22 Grands Prix, with Verstappen taking a third consecutive drivers' title and Red Bull the constructors' crown. Its 95.45 per cent win rate beat the 93.8 per cent of the 1988 McLaren MP4/4, and it led 86.7 per cent of the season's racing laps.
