About the Red Bull Racing RB16
Red Bull Racing based the RB16 on the RB15, giving it a narrower nose, smaller side-pod inlets, a 'cape' element under the nose popularised by Mercedes, and a redesigned front multi-link suspension aimed at low-speed corners. Its debut was delayed by the COVID-19 pandemic until the 2020 Austrian Grand Prix, where both Max Verstappen and Alexander Albon retired with electrical failures. Verstappen went on to score 11 podiums, including wins at the 70th Anniversary Grand Prix and in Abu Dhabi, while Albon managed two. Red Bull finished second in the Constructors' Championship, with Verstappen third and Albon seventh in the drivers' standings.
