About the Red Bull Racing RB14
Red Bull Racing's RB14 was designed under Adrian Newey for 2018 and powered by a Renault R.E.18 badged as a TAG Heuer, the last time the team used customer Renault engines before switching to Honda. After two seasons of slow starts, the team launched the car earlier than usual to gather more track data, with Daniel Ricciardo completing a shakedown at Silverstone a week before testing. The RB14 ran a steep rake of 1.9 degrees, far more than the Mercedes W09's 1.2 degrees. Ricciardo and Max Verstappen took four wins, two pole positions and 13 podiums with it.
