About the Red Bull Racing RB13
Red Bull Racing's RB13 was designed under Adrian Newey for the new 2017 rules and powered by a Renault R.E.17 badged as a TAG Heuer. Pre-season testing showed it well behind Ferrari and Mercedes on pace and reliability, and the team followed a low-drag philosophy before adding a host of new parts during the European season. Daniel Ricciardo finished third in three consecutive races, then won a chaotic Azerbaijan Grand Prix from tenth on the grid despite falling to 17th after a stop to clear debris from a radiator. With Ricciardo and Max Verstappen the car went on to take three wins and 13 podiums, though it never started from pole.

Red Bull Racing RB13 fun facts
- It was the first Red Bull with a shark fin engine cover since the championship-winning RB6 of 2010.
- In the damp 2017 Chinese Grand Prix Max Verstappen gained seven places on the opening lap and finished third from 16th on the grid.
- Ricciardo's car broke down on the installation laps at his home race in Melbourne, so he started two laps down before an engine failure ended his day.
