About the Nissan Qashqai J12
The third-generation Nissan Qashqai (J12) represents a significant evolution for the car that originally defined the crossover segment. Built on the CMF-C platform, it introduced a more rigid structure and improved suspension geometry to enhance driving dynamics. This 1.3-litre DIG-T variant features a 12V mild-hybrid system that assists with torque delivery and improves fuel efficiency during stop-start driving. While it remains a sensible family choice, the J12 generation moved the model upmarket with a vastly improved interior and sharper, more aggressive styling.
