About the Nissan Magnite
Launched in late 2020, the Nissan Magnite was a critical 'make-or-break' model for Nissan's presence in the Indian and emerging markets. It is built on the CMF-A+ platform, shared with the Renault Kiger, and features a distinctive large grille and sharp LED lighting. The 1.0-litre HRA0 turbocharged engine utilizes 'mirror bore cylinder coating' technology derived from the Nissan GT-R to reduce friction and improve heat management. Despite its budget positioning, it offers a surprisingly spacious cabin and a robust safety suite, including a four-star Global NCAP rating.
