About the Nissan GT-R R35
The R35 GT-R arrived in Japan in 2007, breaking with the Skyline badge while retaining the GT-R’s all-wheel-drive performance identity. For 2017 Nissan gave it a substantial facelift and raised the Premium’s output to 565 hp in the US. Its hand-assembled engine, dual-clutch transaxle and relentless traction make it a formidable long-distance performance car. The long-running R35 finally reached the end of production in 2025.
