Mercedes-AMG F1 W16 E Performance
The first Mercedes since 2012 not raced by Lewis Hamilton, pairing George Russell with rookie Kimi Antonelli.
About the Mercedes-AMG F1 W16 E Performance
The W16 succeeded the four-time race-winning W15 and was raced in 2025 by George Russell and rookie Kimi Antonelli, who replaced Lewis Hamilton after his move to Ferrari. Technical director James Allison was closely involved in its design, which appeared to cure the suspension problems of Mercedes' earlier ground-effect cars but brought inconsistent balance in their place. Russell won the Canadian and Singapore Grands Prix, both from pole, and the car scored 12 podiums, two poles and six fastest laps. Mercedes finished second in the Constructors' Championship with 469 points.
