Mercedes-AMG F1 W15 E Performance
James Allison's first full Mercedes design, which brought back race wins in Lewis Hamilton's farewell season with the team.
About the Mercedes-AMG F1 W15 E Performance
The W15 was the first Mercedes designed fully under James Allison after his return as technical director, with reshaped sidepods, a switch from pull-rod to push-rod suspension and a cockpit moved further back. George Russell and Lewis Hamilton, in his final season with the team, raced it in 2024. It won four Grands Prix: Russell in Austria and Las Vegas, and Hamilton at Silverstone and Spa, where he inherited victory after Russell was disqualified for being 1.5 kg under the minimum weight. Russell later called it the most inconsistent car Mercedes had built, and the team finished fourth in the Constructors' Championship with 468 points, its lowest position since 2012.
