About the Mercedes-AMG F1 W11 EQ Performance

Mercedes' 2020 car introduced Dual-Axis Steering, which let drivers change the toe of the front wheels by pushing or pulling the steering wheel, a system banned for 2021. Its debut was delayed by the COVID-19 pandemic until the Austrian Grand Prix, and it raced in black instead of silver after Lewis Hamilton urged the team to show its support for the Black Lives Matter movement and to improve diversity. Hamilton and Valtteri Bottas won 13 of its 17 races and took 15 pole positions, with George Russell standing in at the Sakhir Grand Prix when Hamilton tested positive for COVID-19. The W11 set lap records at numerous circuits and gave Mercedes a seventh consecutive Constructors' Championship, breaking Ferrari's record, along with Hamilton's 2020 drivers' title.
