About the Mercedes-AMG F1 W10 EQ Power+
Mercedes ran two distinct aerodynamic packages on the W10 in 2019 pre-season testing before choosing the 'B-spec', with its outboard front wing philosophy and revised nose, bargeboards and floor, for racing. Its strength in slow and medium-speed corners and its ease in working Pirelli's new tyres made up for a power unit that trailed Ferrari's in qualifying trim, though its tight cooling was exposed by heat and altitude in Austria. Lewis Hamilton and Valtteri Bottas opened the season with five consecutive one-two finishes, a record start, and went on to win 15 races between them. The car delivered a record-equalling sixth consecutive Constructors' Championship for Mercedes and a sixth drivers' title for Hamilton.
