About the Mercedes-AMG F1 W06 Hybrid

The F1 W06 Hybrid was an evolution of the dominant W05, developed under technical director Paddy Lowe and powered by the PU106B Hybrid, and Lewis Hamilton said it was difficult to pick out differences between the two. Hamilton and Nico Rosberg won 16 of the 19 races, ten and six respectively, with 18 pole positions and 12 one-two finishes. Mercedes clinched the Constructors' Championship at the 15th round and Hamilton his third drivers' title one race later. One of its rare setbacks came at Monaco, where the team miscalculated a safety car pit stop and cost the leading Hamilton the win.
