About the Mercedes-AMG F1 W04
The F1 W04 was Mercedes' 2013 car, driven by Nico Rosberg and Lewis Hamilton, who joined from McLaren after Michael Schumacher retired. It was fast over a lap but notoriously hard on its tyres early in the season, so Rosberg turned poles in Bahrain and Spain into only ninth and sixth. Rosberg won at Monaco and Silverstone, and Hamilton took his first win for the team from pole in Hungary. The car lifted Mercedes from fifth to second in the Constructors' Championship.
