About the McLaren MP4-25

Unveiled at Vodafone's Newbury headquarters in January 2010, the MP4-25 was raced by Jenson Button and Lewis Hamilton. Its F-duct fed air from a snorkel to slots in the rear wing, which stalled at high speed to cut drag when the driver covered a hole in the cockpit with his left leg, and the FIA ruled it was not a moveable aerodynamic device. Button won in Australia, the team scored one-twos in China, Turkey and Canada, and Hamilton also won in Belgium, for five wins and 16 podiums. McLaren led both championships for a time but finished second to Red Bull in the constructors' standings.

McLaren MP4-25 rarity in CarSpot

The McLaren MP4-25 is a Unicorn card in CarSpot, with a rarity score of 42 out of 100. The rarest tier: hypercars, one-offs and cars built in tiny numbers, typically fewer than about 500. A Unicorn card is worth 320 XP.

Each model's tier starts from a 0–100 score based on its value plus its power or production numbers. Once enough players have spotted a model, how often it is spotted can move it up or down one tier. How CarSpot rarity works

Rarity is a collectible game mechanic, not an assessment of real-world scarcity or value.
