About the McLaren MP4/15
The MP4/15 was designed by Adrian Newey, Steve Nichols, Neil Oatley and Henri Durand, with Mario Illien designing its bespoke Ilmor-built Mercedes-Benz FO110J V10. Mika Häkkinen and David Coulthard raced it through 2000, taking seven wins, seven pole positions and 12 fastest laps from 17 races. It was narrowly beaten to both championships by the Ferrari F1-2000, and the team lost 10 constructors' points at the Austrian Grand Prix when an FIA-mandated seal was found missing, although no evidence of tampering was found. BBC Sport's Andrew Benson still rated McLaren's car the best and fastest of the year.

The McLaren MP4/15 is a Unicorn card in CarSpot, with a rarity score of 42 out of 100. The rarest tier: hypercars, one-offs and cars built in tiny numbers, typically fewer than about 500. A Unicorn card is worth 320 XP.
Each model's tier starts from a 0–100 score based on its value plus its power or production numbers. Once enough players have spotted a model, how often it is spotted can move it up or down one tier. How CarSpot rarity works
Rarity is a collectible game mechanic, not an assessment of real-world scarcity or value.
