About the McLaren MCL36
The MCL36 was McLaren's first car for the 2022 regulations and James Key's first completely original design for the team. Its reversed suspension layout had not been seen on a Formula One car since the McLaren MP4-28 and helped airflow to the underfloor, while an edge wing on the floor helped it avoid the porpoising that troubled rivals in testing. Brake cooling problems exposed in the hotter Bahrain test hampered its start, and Daniel Ricciardo struggled to match Lando Norris all season. Norris took third at Imola, the only 2022 podium for a car from outside the top three teams, but McLaren lost fourth in the Constructors' Championship to Alpine.

The McLaren MCL36 is a Unicorn card in CarSpot, with a rarity score of 42 out of 100. The rarest tier: hypercars, one-offs and cars built in tiny numbers, typically fewer than about 500. A Unicorn card is worth 320 XP.
Each model's tier starts from a 0–100 score based on its value plus its power or production numbers. Once enough players have spotted a model, how often it is spotted can move it up or down one tier. How CarSpot rarity works
