About the McLaren MCL35M

The MCL35M was McLaren's 2021 update of the MCL35, built with special FIA permission to modify the chassis for Mercedes-AMG's F1 M12 E Performance power unit, a requirement that led directly to Formula One's token system for 2021 development. McLaren kept designing and building its own gearbox despite the engine switch. Lando Norris was joined by Daniel Ricciardo, and the car scored five podiums, a pole position and two fastest laps. Ricciardo led Norris home at the 2021 Italian Grand Prix for McLaren's first win since 2012, but the team lost third in the Constructors' Championship to Ferrari and finished fourth.

McLaren MCL35M rarity in CarSpot

The McLaren MCL35M is a Unicorn card in CarSpot, with a rarity score of 42 out of 100. The rarest tier: hypercars, one-offs and cars built in tiny numbers, typically fewer than about 500. A Unicorn card is worth 320 XP.

Each model's tier starts from a 0–100 score based on its value plus its power or production numbers. Once enough players have spotted a model, how often it is spotted can move it up or down one tier. How CarSpot rarity works

Rarity is a collectible game mechanic, not an assessment of real-world scarcity or value.
