About the McLaren GTS

Introduced in late 2023 as the successor to the McLaren GT, the GTS enhances the brand's grand touring formula with more power and less weight. It is built around the MonoCell II-T carbon-fibre monocoque, featuring a unique rear upper structure that provides a class-leading 570 litres of total luggage space. The 4.0-litre M840TE engine has been retuned for 635 PS, while the vehicle's nose-lift system now operates twice as fast as its predecessor. It remains a mid-engined supercar that balances long-distance refinement with the sharp handling dynamics characteristic of the Woking-based manufacturer.

The McLaren GTS produces 635 bhp (474 kW) and 630 Nm (465 lb-ft) of torque. It reaches 60 mph in 3.1 seconds and has a top speed of 203 mph (326 km/h).

McLaren GTS fun facts

  • The GTS is 10kg lighter than the outgoing GT, thanks in part to a roof panel made from recycled carbon fibre.
  • Despite its supercar performance, the GTS offers a combined 570 litres of storage, which is more than many small hatchbacks.
  • The 'GTS' nameplate was chosen to reflect the car's enhanced performance and sharper design compared to the original GT model.
