About the Maybach 57
Revived by DaimlerChrysler to challenge Rolls-Royce and Bentley, the Maybach 57 S (Special) was the more powerful, driver-focused alternative to the standard 57. It features a 6.0-litre V12 engine developed in collaboration with Mercedes-AMG, delivering a massive 1,000 Nm of torque that is electronically limited to protect the drivetrain. The 'S' variant is distinguished by its 20-inch wheels, a revised radiator grille, and a slightly lower, firmer suspension setup for improved handling. Despite its immense weight, the 57 S offers surprising performance, though it remains defined by its opulent, hand-finished interior and silent cruising capabilities.
