About the Lincoln MKT
The Lincoln MKT was introduced as a three-row luxury crossover based on the Ford Flex platform, featuring the brand's controversial 'split-wing' grille design. For the 2013 model year, it received a significant mid-cycle refresh that boosted the 3.5-litre EcoBoost V6 to 365 horsepower and added Continuously Controlled Damping. While its exterior styling remained divisive, the interior was praised for its quietness and high-quality materials, including Bridge of Weir leather. It served as a spiritual successor to the Town Car in the livery market, though it never achieved the same level of retail success as its rivals.
