About the Cadillac XTS
The 2013 Cadillac XTS arrived as a sophisticated replacement for both the DTS and STS, serving as the brand's flagship until the arrival of the rear-drive CT6. Built on a long-wheelbase version of the Epsilon II platform, it prioritised interior volume and ride comfort, featuring standard Magnetic Ride Control and Brembo front brakes. It was the first Cadillac to debut the CUE (Cadillac User Experience) infotainment system, which introduced tablet-like capacitive touch controls to the cabin. While it lacked a V8, the 3.6-litre LFX V6 provided smooth, adequate power for a car that excelled as a quiet, spacious cruiser for executive and livery use.
