About the Jordan EJ13
The EJ13 was Jordan's 2003 car, designed by Gary Anderson and Nicolò Petrucci after Honda's departure left the team with 2002-specification Cosworth CR-4 engines badged as Ford RS1. Short of sponsorship, the team beat only Minardi in the Constructors' standings. Its great day came at the torrential 2003 Brazilian Grand Prix, stopped early after a heavy crash, where Giancarlo Fisichella was first classified second and then declared the winner by an FIA inquiry several days later. Ralph Firman scored a point in Spain, and Zsolt Baumgartner, the first Hungarian Formula One driver, stood in after Firman was injured in practice in Hungary.
