About the Jordan EJ10
Designed by Mike Gascoyne and powered by a Mugen-Honda V10, the EJ10 broke Jordan's naming pattern to honour Eddie Jordan and the team's tenth season in Formula One. Heinz-Harald Frentzen and Jarno Trulli often fought for best of the rest behind Ferrari and McLaren, and Frentzen took podiums at Interlagos and Indianapolis while the team claimed three front-row starts. Unreliability limited the cars to 15 finishes from a possible 34, and Frentzen crashed out of second place late at Monaco, leaving Jordan sixth in the constructors' championship with 17 points after third in 1999. A developed EJ10B was raced from the German Grand Prix onwards.
