About the Jeep Grand Cherokee ZJ
The ZJ-generation Grand Cherokee was a landmark for Jeep, successfully blending rugged off-road capability with the refinement of a luxury saloon. While the 4.0-litre straight-six was the workhorse, the 5.2-litre 'Magnum' V8 provided the effortless torque and towing power that defined the American premium SUV experience in the 1990s. It featured the innovative Quadra-Trac full-time four-wheel-drive system and a unibody construction that was advanced for its time. Today, well-preserved examples are increasingly sought after by collectors for their classic boxy styling and surprisingly comfortable road manners.
