About the Jeep Compass MP
The 2022 Jeep Compass 4xe Trailhawk represents the brand's push into electrification without sacrificing its rugged identity. Combining a 1.3-litre turbocharged petrol engine with a rear-mounted electric motor, it provides a combined 240 hp and an electric-only range of approximately 30 miles. The Trailhawk trim is the most capable in the range, featuring a one-inch suspension lift, skid plates, and the Selec-Terrain system with an exclusive Rock mode. While it offers impressive off-road geometry for a crossover, the added weight of the 11.4kWh battery affects its on-road agility compared to non-hybrid rivals.
