About the Ford Focus RS500 Mk2
Launched in 2010 as a final celebration of the second-generation Focus RS, the RS500 is one of the most coveted modern Fords. It features a Mountune-developed upgrade to the 2.5-litre Duratec engine, increasing power by 15 per cent through a larger airbox, uprated fuel pump, and revised ECU. All 500 units were finished in a distinctive matte black 3M foil wrap with anthracite wheels and red brake calipers. Despite sending 350hp to the front wheels, it remains remarkably composed thanks to the RevoKnuckle front suspension and a Quaife limited-slip differential.
