About the Ford Focus RS Mk3
The third-generation Focus RS brought Ford’s flagship hot hatch to the United States for the first time. A 2.3-litre EcoBoost engine and torque-vectoring all-wheel drive gave it huge cross-country pace, while the standard six-speed manual kept the driver involved. Its selectable Drift mode became an immediate talking point, but the car’s firm ride and sharp responses are just as defining. Production ended with the third-generation Focus in 2018.
