About the Fiat Seicento

The Fiat Seicento Sporting was the enthusiast-oriented version of Fiat's late-90s city car, succeeding the popular Cinquecento. While its 1.1-litre FIRE engine produced a modest 54 bhp, the car's appeal lay in its sub-750kg kerb weight and short-ratio gearbox. The Sporting trim added a rev counter, sports seats, and stiffer anti-roll bars, creating a 'momentum car' that rewarded committed driving. Though it suffered from a poor Euro NCAP safety rating, it remains a cult favourite for its simplicity and agile handling.
