About the Ferrari 458 Speciale
The 458 Speciale is the hardcore, track-focused evolution of the 458 Italia and the final mid-engined Ferrari to feature a naturally aspirated V8. It introduced Side Slip Control (SSC), a sophisticated algorithm that manages torque to allow for controlled, high-speed drifts. Weight was reduced by 90kg through extensive use of carbon fibre and a stripped-out interior, while active aerodynamics—including movable flaps at the front and rear—optimise downforce and drag. It is widely regarded by collectors as one of the greatest driver's cars ever produced by Maranello.
