About the Ferrari 360 Challenge Stradale
Unveiled at the 2003 Geneva Motor Show, the Challenge Stradale was Ferrari's first modern attempt at a track-focused, road-legal V8 special. It is approximately 110kg lighter than the standard 360 Modena, achieved through the extensive use of carbon fibre, titanium springs, and the removal of sound deadening. The 3.6-litre flat-plane crank V8 was tuned for an extra 25hp and paired exclusively with a faster-shifting F1 automated manual gearbox. It features carbon-ceramic brakes as standard—a technology borrowed directly from the Enzo—and is widely celebrated for having one of the most visceral exhaust notes of any road-going Ferrari.
