About the Ferrari 296 Speciale
Unveiled in April 2025, the 296 Speciale is the hardcore, track-focused successor to the 488 Pista and 458 Speciale. It builds upon the 296 GTB's plug-in hybrid architecture, extracting an additional 50 cv from the 'Piccolo V12' twin-turbo V6 and MGU-K electric motor setup. The car features a significantly more aggressive aerodynamic package inspired by the 296 GT3 racer, including a revised front fascia, larger splitters, and enhanced rear winglets. Weight reduction is achieved through extensive use of carbon fibre and titanium components, including pistons and rods derived from the F80 hypercar, resulting in a sharper, more visceral driving experience.
