About the Citroën C6
The Citroën C6 was a bold return to the brand's tradition of eccentric, high-tech luxury flagships, serving as a spiritual successor to the DS, CX, and XM. Its most striking features include a concave rear window and a speed-sensitive active rear spoiler, paired with the sophisticated Hydractive 3+ suspension system for a 'magic carpet' ride. The 2.7-litre V6 HDi diesel, developed in collaboration with Ford and Jaguar, provides smooth, effortless torque suited for long-distance cruising. Despite its critical acclaim for design and comfort, it remained a rare sight on the roads, with production ending in 2012 after fewer than 24,000 units were built.
