About the Bentley Continental GT Supersports
Launched at the 2009 Geneva Motor Show, the Supersports was the hardcore finale for the first-generation Continental GT. It was the first Bentley designed to run on both petrol and E85 bioethanol, featuring a revised W12 engine with increased boost pressure. To improve agility, Bentley shed 110kg by installing carbon-ceramic brakes and carbon-fibre Sparco seats, while widening the rear track by 50mm. The result is a surprisingly focused grand tourer that trades some traditional Bentley plushness for genuine supercar-slaying pace and a more rear-biased torque split.
