About the Benetton B194
Designed by Rory Byrne with Ross Brawn as technical director, the B194 was a light, nimble development of the B192 and B193, built for 1994's ban on electronic driver aids and powered by Ford's Zetec-R V8. Michael Schumacher won six of the first seven races, and after disqualifications in Britain and Belgium he went to the Australian finale one point ahead of Damon Hill, where a contentious collision settled the title in his favour. Rivals suspected the comparatively underpowered car was illegal, and the FIA found launch control software in its onboard computer but could not prove it had been used. Team-mates JJ Lehto, Jos Verstappen and Johnny Herbert all struggled with its sudden oversteer, and it ended the year with eight wins and second in the Constructors' Championship.

Benetton B194 rarity in CarSpot
The Benetton B194 is a Unicorn card in CarSpot, with a rarity score of 100 out of 100. The rarest tier: hypercars, one-offs and cars built in tiny numbers, typically fewer than about 500. A Unicorn card is worth 320 XP.
