About the BAC Mono

The BAC Mono 2.5 represents the second major iteration of the Liverpool-built single-seater, replacing the original 2.3-litre Cosworth unit with a more powerful Mountune-developed engine. Designed to provide the purest possible driving experience, it features a carbon-fibre monocoque and a pushrod-actuated suspension system derived from racing technology. The 2.5-litre version also introduced a wider chassis to improve cockpit ergonomics while maintaining its ultra-lightweight ethos. It remains a benchmark for track-focused performance, frequently outperforming dedicated race cars in lap time comparisons.
