About the Aston Martin DB7 Vantage
Launched at the 1999 Geneva Motor Show, the DB7 Vantage replaced the original inline-six model with a Cosworth-developed 6.0-litre V12. It featured a more aggressive aesthetic including a larger front grille, new fog lamps, and a revised chassis to handle the increased power. While the interior retained its traditional wood-and-leather charm, the V12 transformed the DB7 into a genuine 180mph-plus supercar contender. It remains a significant milestone as the first Aston Martin to use the V12 engine that would define the brand for the next two decades.
