About the Williams FW40

Williams named the FW40 after the team's 40th anniversary and designed it under chief technical officer Pat Symonds and chief designer Ed Wood, with Mercedes-AMG M08 EQ Power+ power. Felipe Massa was joined by debutant Lance Stroll, and Williams began 2017 as the fourth-quickest team but struggled to finish consistently in the points. Stroll scored his first points in Canada and then finished third in the chaotic Azerbaijan Grand Prix, becoming the youngest driver to reach the podium in his debut season. When Massa fell ill in Hungary, reserve driver Paul di Resta stepped in for his first competitive F1 session in three years.

Williams FW40 rarity in CarSpot

The Williams FW40 is a Unicorn card in CarSpot, with a rarity score of 42 out of 100. The rarest tier: hypercars, one-offs and cars built in tiny numbers, typically fewer than about 500. A Unicorn card is worth 320 XP.

Each model's tier starts from a 0–100 score based on its value plus its power or production numbers. Once enough players have spotted a model, how often it is spotted can move it up or down one tier. How CarSpot rarity works

Rarity is a collectible game mechanic, not an assessment of real-world scarcity or value.
